About the Event
The Redcliffe Show Society was reformed in 1949 after World War II, the first annual exhibition was held on Saturday the 19th of August 1950, it was organised by founding president Ald. C.A Webb Deputy Mayor of Redcliffe and Hon. Secretary D.T Martin also with the treasurer W.B. Carver Esq. opening to the general public of Redcliffe which had grown to a population of over 10,000 residents.
